Transition Crich Events
Share & Repair Café
Join us at Crich Glebe Community Centre from 10am-1pm on:

Connect with locals, explore eco-friendly stalls, and enjoy family activities, demos, and talks. Bring broken household items for free repairs (donations welcome).
Make, Do & Mend
Join us at Crich Glebe Community Centre on the third Thursday of each month from 7-9pm on:
- 18 September
- 16 October
- 20 November
These creativity and wellbeing sessions are free (donations welcome).
Litter Pick & Gardening
Join us at Crich Glebe Community Centre from 10am-12pm on the following Saturdays:

Find Derbyshire's mobile zero-waste shop outside Crich Glebe Community Centre from 2-4pm on the following Tuesdays:

Autumn Share & Repair Cafe
Join us for Crich Share & Repair Cafe
Date: Saturday, 13 September
Location: Crich Glebe Community Centre
Time: 10:00 AM to 1.00 PM
This event will be packed with community favourites, including our repair shop, stalls, crafting activities for all the family, a clothes swap, seed swap, and gardening tips.
Plus, don’t miss the 11am talk with Marches Energy and Derbyshire Swift Conservation.
We also have our wonderful volunteer repairers waiting to fix your broken household items and our famous café selling homemade cakes and bakes!
We're collecting old tools and ink cartridges - so bring your donations, a friend, and something to fix or swap!

Autumn Make, Do & Mend
Join us on the Third Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 PM for an evening dedicated to sharing skills, knowledge, and experiences.
📍 Location: Crich Glebe Community Centre
Each session features different members of the community who will share their expertise on a variety of topics.
In September, Clare will showcase Kintsugi, the ancient art of mending broken ceramics. Bring your broken cups and plates and give it a try! Additionally, Paul will demonstrate some simple electrical repairs that you can attempt at home.
In October, three local residents will discuss their experiences with renovating, retrofitting, and transitioning to green energy. Marches Energy will provide valuable ideas and information to help you save energy in your home.
In November, we will focus on upcycling, creating sustainable gifts, wrapping, and decorations for the festive season.
Together, we are building community resilience through the sharing and learning of our skills and knowledge!
