Who are Transition Crich?

We are a group of local residents who are striving for the Crich area to become a more sustainable and environmentally friendly place to live and work.

Transition Crich is part of a global network which aims to create a world that uses less energy and fewer resources and become a closer knit, more self-sufficient and thus resilient community.

Transition is a movement that has been growing since 2005. Community-led Transition groups are working for a low-carbon, socially just future with resilient communities, more active participation in society, and caring culture focused on supporting each other.

Our action plan lists the projects we are working on, but if you have other ideas we would love to hear them.

Join us at The Comrades Club on the second Tuesday of each month from 7.30 pm. Our meetings are a space to come together to discuss changes, plans and improvements, and offer mutual support and encouragement, which will hopefully make a difference to our community and beyond.

We hope you will join us and get involved 😊
