Launched in October 2021, the Crich Share & Repair Café brings the local community together to gain sustainability advice and reduce waste by repairing and swapping, rather than replacing.
Held at Crich Glebe Community Centre, the café has become a welcoming space to fix household items, swap seeds and clothes, listen to inspiring talks and connect with others, whilst enjoying homemade snacks. Meanwhile, children can get stuck in with creative activities and story time.
Donations help keep the café running, and new volunteers are always welcome.
These monthly skill-sharing workshops offer creative, practical ways to improve wellbeing and live more sustainably.
Held at Crich Glebe Community Centre from January to June, sessions have explored eco-cleaning products, mending clothes, and fermenting.
Don't miss upcoming sessions on growing and foraging, and nature photography and sound recording.
Supported by Crich Parish Council and Arts Council England through Make/Shift, the sessions are free to attend, with donations helping to fund future events. All ages and skill levels are welcome.
Art Share Crich supports local creativity through exhibitions and hands-on workshops.
Throughout the year, residents of all skill levels are invited to take part in interactive sessions like sunflower mono-printing.
Each year, a diverse range of artists and makers then showcase their work at our Art Share community exhibition.
It’s a great way to celebrate creativity, build confidence, and strengthen community connections.
Everyone is invited to get involved, whether to exhibit or take part.
All three leadership groups meet regularly at Crich Comrades Club, either monthly or every other month.
Check our events page for upcoming dates and details.
