Wellbeing Walk, Trees
Join us for a social ramble around the Crich area, where we’ll chat about trees and life
Date: Sunday, 17th August
Location: Market Place, Crich DE4
Time: 10:30 AM
We have a planned route of approximately 3 miles, featuring woods, fields, and footpaths.
The path includes stiles and some hilly sections, but we’ll take our time with plenty of stops to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.
Please wear suitable clothing, sturdy footwear and bring walking poles or sticks if needed.
We will use the PlantNet App, Google image search, Woodland Trust App, and our shared knowledge to enhance our understanding of the trees in our area.
We hope to see you there! Steve will be walking, rain or shine.
If you have any questions, please email transitioncrich@gmail.com.

Autumn Make, Do & Mend
Join us on the Third Thursday of each month from 7 to 9 PM for an evening dedicated to sharing skills, knowledge, and experiences.
📍 Location: Crich Glebe Community Centre
Each session features different members of the community who will share their expertise on a variety of topics.
In September, Clare will showcase Kintsugi, the ancient art of mending broken ceramics. Bring your broken cups and plates and give it a try! Additionally, Paul will demonstrate some simple electrical repairs that you can attempt at home.
In October, three local residents will discuss their experiences with renovating, retrofitting, and transitioning to green energy. Marches Energy will provide valuable ideas and information to help you save energy in your home.
In November, we will focus on upcycling, creating sustainable gifts, wrapping, and decorations for the festive season.
Together, we are building community resilience through the sharing and learning of our skills and knowledge!
If you have a skill you would like to share, we would love to hear from you! Please email transitioncrich@gmail.com.
